* * Welcome to the 2010 gateway acadamy * *
Watertown High School is hosting their third annual engineering day camp 4 girls & boys. The Gateway Acadamy is supported by Project Lead the Way, the UW-Extension of Dodge County 4H, the Kern Family Foundation and more... This week long summer camp is designed to enforce and expose young females and males to careers in Engineering.
Attendees will be working in small groups with hands-on/minds-on projects related to; Robotics & Automation, Digital Electronics, CAD/CAM Technologies, and much more! Attendees will also be taking a full day tour of two businesses and a 4-yr Engineering College. During the tour, students will hear from multiple engineers and instructors alike on how they moved into their positions and talents.
Throughout the week, Adult and Student Instructors, Engineering College Students and Female Business People/Engineers will be visiting and working with the attendees on their projects.
