What is Electrathon?
A student based "Engineering Design Problem" to research and prototype an Energy Efficient Vehicle based around Electric Power. The vehicle is to be powered by 67 pounds of standard car batteries.

Regulations based around safety are in place to keep standards accross the midwest United States, so that teams may travel and compete against other High School teams. Competition is designed to both allow teams to collect data, as well as compare their work to other designs from other high school students. Regulations can be downloaded from the Wisconsin Electrathon website, linked below.

Watertown High School's Electrathon Team, "GoslingElectric", is comprised of both Engineering and Manufacturing students. These students, with the structure of SkillsUSA, manage the year's activities from fundraising, community service, leadership training, monthly meetings, officers, challenges and much more. This project builds much more than just welding and machining skills in each student, (though it does a great job promoting and strengthening Engineering and Manufacturing skills!)

Team sponsors & supporters It is with great support from local Business & Industry that the Gosling Electric Team trhives! Your contributions helps to further educate Watertown's youth in Engineering and Manufaturing fields through the design, construction and testing of an energy efficient vehicle.
